Description

Marble, face of a Gorgoneion(?). Surface of face only preserved, from upper forehead to just below the lower lip. Area below lip abraded. Forehead furrowed horizontally. Heavy nose, spreading more on proper right side than on the left. Thick, slightly parted lips, unpleasant expression. Surface badly discolored, a dirty gray.
