Description | Buckskin sling, pimasina b n. These are used by the children and occasionally by the hunters only for amusement, no attempt is made to kill animals, etc., with them. One informant said that they used to be used in "Indian Wars." If the specimen represents an old trait in the material culture it is of considerable interest. The nearest people known to use it are the Eskimo. |
