Description | Bone (or horn) point, hardwood foreshaft inserted into cane shaft. Junction of point and foreshaft and also of foreshaft and shaft wrapped with plant cuticle covered with white clay. Foreshaft divided into bands, four of them painted red, and one of the unpainted ones decorated with a design of concentric diamonds. The point end of the shaft and both ends of the foreshaft have narrow black bands. |
