Description | Red polished III bowl. Light red clay. Thick dark red slip, almost none preserved. Round base, hemispherical body, incurving rim; convex vertical lug at rim, pierced. Incised decoration: on mid-body, two concentric circles with three punctures in the centers, three squares divided into thirds and filled with hatching, two pairs of vertical lines with concentric semi-circles antithetically and assymmetrically tangent; group of four horizontal lines encircling base; below rim, group of six horizontal lines with a superimposed double zigzag. Horizontal string hole. |
