Wooden Katsina doll. The face is painted black with a white bird track on the forehead. The eyes are bulging and the mouth is not present. One eye is damaged. A tuft of feathers is attached to the top of the head. There is a horn on either side of the head painted with white stripes and "V" designs. The body is painted with a blue and white shirt and black pants. This figure is likely the Black Ogre (Nataska) Katsina. (Colton, H. 1959 #29, Wright, B., 1973 #78)
