Description
Stained red with yellow stamped with border stamped with black zigzags. Oiled. Man’s loincloth (malo). Acquired by the United States Exploring Expedition (1838-1842) by Titian R. Peale. “’Marro’ (breech cloth or man’s waist belt) of ‘tapa.’” on Peale list. Ka Hana Kapa #384. See notes.
