Description

Reliquary head. Wooden sculptured head. used to guard ancestral spirits of skulls kept in cylindrical wooden boxes in shrines. (AF1880B Probably authentic Fang head, acc. to P. Ben-Amos 1982 while AF1880A is an imitation)
