Description | CBS Register: head from a mortuary stone in marble, male youth. Romano: "Small beardless male head in high relief turned to his right. Hair arranged in two rows of rough snail curls framing face. On top and sides of head hair is summarily treated. Low forehead, sharp brows with shallowly carved eyes with little definition with some ghosts of dark pigment. Thin elongated nose; small mouth with horizontal line; full chin. Ear on left side set high and protruding, while on right it lies flatter." |
