THE Museum will be closed from July 1st to September 2nd, inclusive. Attendance has always dropped to a low point during this period, and the experiment of closing proved successful when first tried.

The Museum does not wish thereby to exclude those who have no other opportunity to visit the collections; during business hours it will usually be possible for travelers from out of town and from foreign countries, especially those with professional connections, to gain admission at the rear entrance on Thirty-fourth Street, fifty yards south of Spruce Street.

Frequently a member of the administrative staff will be available to answer any special questions that occur.
