Log on for these FREE live learning sessions every Friday. Perfect for kids in grades K–6 to dig deeper into world cultures, archaeology, and anthropology with demonstrations of hands-on projects to do at home.
Hosted in collaboration with the Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration’s Community of Learning.
Humans have been keeping pets for thousands of years, be they furry, feathered, scaly, or anything in between. Students will track the history of pets across different ancient cultures by studying artifacts in the Penn Museum collection. They will then design their own paper pet collar.
Recommended materials: Blank sheet of paper, a writing utensil, scissors, tape, and coloring materials.
